Process laser cutting

Process
For laser cutting the laser beam is lead arbitrary across the component and creates a narrow cutter path. Depth and quality of the cut are affected/determined by the adjusted parameters. The non-contact cutting of plastics will allow several millimetres depth of cut.
Laser transmission welding offers the following advantages:

• Non-contact
• No distortion
• Clean cutting edges
• Flexible shape of the contour

This process may also be used for the perforation of plastics.

MS-Laser machines
MS laser machines have a guided beam, which is a special development, allowing the laser cutting process to be effected on 3D components without compromise to the cut quality. High-performance software enables the direct input of 3D-CAD data to the cut process.
Further advantages of the laser cut process are the clean and lint-free cuts. Variable geometry across a number of applications can be assured of the same high level quality. The MS concept minimises the possibilities of harmful substances during the cutting process.
